Baking Normal Maps -- High to Low Polygon Models

6.  Create a blank image

UV/Image Editor menu >> Image >> New
Give it a unique name
OK button

7.  Set Active UV Texture

If there is more than 1 UV Texture, select the UV Texture you want the High to Low Polygon Normal map to baked to.


If there is only 1 UV Texture, it will already be set.  
Object selected

Buttons Window menu >> Editing (F9)
Mesh tab
UV Texture
Set Active UV Texture button

8.  Assign active UV Texture to new blank image

Object selected: edit mode

UV/Image Editor >> Image box
select blank image
