13.  Position the Camera

Note:
The model I'm using to create the normal map is positioned at [ 0.0, 0.0, 0.0].
I want to place the camera over it and looking down.

Select the Camera
Open Transform Properties
N key
or
3D View menu >> Object >> Transform Properties
Position Camera
LocX:  0.0
LocY:  0.0
LocZ:  5.0
Orient Camera
RotX:  0.0
RotY:  0.0
RotZ:  0.0


  
14.  Set the image size of the rendered normal map

Note:
For this tutorial, I'm setting the image size at 512 x 512 pixels.

Buttons Window menu >> Scene (F10) >> Render buttons
Format tab
SizeX:  512

15.  Camera settings: Orthographic

Note:
Use the orthographic scale to zoom the camera in or out
