Optional -- Mist Falloff

Note:
  • Falloff sets how the mist intensity increases with distance.
  • At this point in time (Blender 2.59), Mist Falloff works in the Game Engine but it can only be changed when the Engine box is set to Blender Render.
 
Instructions:
  • Info menu >> Engine box >> Blender Render

Note:
  • Quadratic: intensity increases as a parabolic function (ax2 + bx + c = 0)
  • Linear: intensity increase in a linear progression.
  • Inverse Quadratic = Inverse of a quadratic progression.

  • Properties menu >> World button >> Mist tab
  • Falloff box >> Quadratic
