Scale Bezier Circle in Edit Mode

Note:
  • As always, scale game objects in edit mode. 
  • 1 Blender Unit = 1 meter
  • For this tutorial scale the Bezier Circle by 9.

Bezier Circle >> Edit Mode
  • Tab key
or
  • 3D View menu >> Mode Box >> Edit Mode

  • S key >> Move mouse
or
  • 3D View menu >> Curve >> Transform >> Scale >> Move mouse

Create an outline of the width of your race track

Note:
  • This tutorial uses the simplest possible shape (a line) for the road but the same steps apply for any shape.  (Tunnel, road with a center line, etc,)
  • 1 Blender Unit = 1 meter
   
Bezier Circle >> Object Mode
  • Tab key
or
  • 3D View menu >> Mode Box >> Object Mode
Add Plane >> Delete 2 vertices
  • Info menu >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane
  • Plane.  Edit mode.
    Select 2 vertices. 
  • Delete them, leaving 1 edge.
    X key >> Vertices

Center the object center between the two remaining vertices.

Instructions:
  • Plane (2D outline) selected.  Object mode.
  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Transform >> Geometry to Origin
