Rotate road shape.

Note:
  • The road shape should be perpendicular to the road path.

Select road shape.  Object mode.

Rotate
  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Transform >> Rotate
or
  • R key

Make Duplicates Real

Note:
  • Make sure the shape of the track is correct before you make the duplicates real. 

Select road shape.  Object mode.

Make Duplicates real
  • 3D View menu >> Object >> Apply >> Make Duplicates Real
or
  • Ctrl + Shift + A key

Join Duplicates together.

Note:
  • When you made the duplicates real, it made each duplicate a separate object.  We want join the duplicates together and make the track one object.
