Health Bar -- Blender Game Engine


1.  Switch Scenes from HUD to scene holding your player

For this tutorial, the Player named Fred is in located in the Scene named Scene

User Preference menu >> Scene box
SCE: Scene

2.  Add Property named Health to your player

The amount is the starting health of your player.  

Buttons Window menu >> Logic (F4)
Add Property
Type: Int 
Name:  Health
Amount: 100

3.  Add a Property Sensor to your player

Property Sensor >> AND Controller >> Message Actuator
When Health changes, the message actuator sends a message to the HUD

Sensors Add
Property Sensor
Type:  Changed
Prop:   Health
