Point to Point Race Track: Blender 3D Game Engine




 
1.  Add a Path.

Instructions:
  • Top View.  Object Mode
  • Spacebar >> Add >> Curve >> Path
or
  • User Preference menu >> Add >> Curve >> Path


  
2.  Scale the path to the size you want your point to point track to be.
  
Note:
  • For this tutorial, I'm only scaling it a factor of 9.
  
Instructions:
  • Path selected.  Edit Mode
  • S key
Move mouse
or
9 key
  • Enter key to accept scale
   

  
3.  Add more control points to the path.
  
Note:
  • Control points allow you to change the shape of the path
  
Instructions:
  • Bezier Circle selected.  Edit Mode
  • Select all control points
A key toggles Select/Deselect All
or
3D View menu >> Select >> Select/Deselect All

  • Subdivide
W key >> Subdivide
or
Buttons Window menu >> Panels >> Editing (F9) button
Curves Tools 1 tab >> Subdivide button
