Playing Movies -- Blender 3D Game Engine



 

 

 
1.  Add the object to be used as the movie screen

Note:
For this example, I will be using a plane for the movie screen.
For this example, I will be naming it MovieScreen.

Add a plane:
Spacebar >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane
or
User Preference menu >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane

Plane: Object mode

Give it a unique name
N key
or
3D View menu >> Object >> Transform Properties
Transform Properties OB:  MovieScreen




   
2.  Add a material to the Screen.  Give it a unique name.  Set to shadeless

Mirror selected:  Object mode

Add a material
Buttons Window menu >> Shading (F5) >> Material buttons
Links and Pipeline tab
Link to Object
Add New

Give it a unique name
Links and Pipeline tab
Link to Object
MA:  Screen
   
Set to Shadeless
Material tab
Shadeless button
