7.  UV map UV Texture to image

UV/Image editor >> Image box
Select  image
Map to image




   
8.  Map Input:  UV

Buttons Window menu >> Shading (F5) >> Material buttons
Map Input tab

9.  Add RenderToTexture.py to the Text Editor

Note:
If you downloaded either the starting blend or the finished blend, you can find RenderToTexture249.txt and RenderToTexture250.txt in the Text Editor.  

Download:

Text Editor menu >> Text >> Open
Rename RenderToTexture.txt to RenderToTexture.py


 

   
10.  Add an Always Sensor to the Monitor

Buttons Window menu >> Logic (F4)
Sensors
Add
Always
