Viewports: Blender 3D Game Engine





 

1.  Give the camera a unique name

Select camera

Open Transform Properties
N key
or
3D View menu >> Object >> Transform Properties
Give it a unique name


2.  Add a second camera

Add camera
Spacebar >> Add >> Camera
or
User Preference menu >> Add >> Camera

Give it a unique name
Open Transform Properties
N key
or
3D View menu >> Object >> Transform Properties
Give it a unique name
 



3.  Add a string Property named Cam1

Note:
Property must be named Cam1.  Can't be named Fred or camera or anything else.  The python code looks for a string Property attached to the camera named Cam1.

Select a camera  
For this example I'm selecting Player1_Cam

Add Property
Name: Cam1
Type:  String
Unique name of 1st Camera


 

4.  Add a 2nd string Property named Cam2

Note:
Property must be named Cam2.  Can't be named Fred or camera or anything else.  The python code looks for a string Property attached to the camera named Cam2.

Add Property
Name: Cam2
Type:  String
Unique name of 2nd Camera
